Job Title: Onboarding Specialist

Marex is a unique player in the market with significant global presence, offering its customers a clear advantage through technology-led services.

The Client Onboarding Department plays a crucial role in combatting financial crime and terrorist financing by identifying and verifying new customers.

To ensure efficient customer onboarding across business divisions, adhering to Group policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CDD/KYC/AML checks on new customers in accordance with local regulatory requirements and Group standards.
  • Issue client documentation, including agreements, as required by local regulations and exchange rules.
  • Carry out customer categorizations according to local regulatory requirements.
  • Meet daily targets set by the Onboarding Manager.
  • Administer, allocate, and update the onboarding pipeline daily.
  • Maintain accurate records of client and static data in the Client Data Base (Neon Onboarding and PeopleSoft).
  • Ensure complete records of customer documentation are maintained.
  • Keep the Front-Office, Co-Ordination Team, and Quality Control Teams informed of case progress.
  • Request Business Head approval for related matters.
  • Participate in weekly Business Line prioritization check-in calls.
  • Support ad-hoc reviews, projects, and audits as required.
  • Handle general day-to-day ad-hoc queries efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with the Financial Crime team.
  • Inform management of issues and developments in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA, NFA, AMF, AFM, MAS, SFC, ASIC, AUSTRAC regulations, and adhere to internal policies.

Required Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant financial industry experience.
  • Client onboarding experience with KYC and anti-financial crimes regulatory knowledge is a plus.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and proficiency in back-office systems.
