Job Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals with a background in physiotherapy or exercise physiology to join our team as an Occupational Health Specialist.

This role offers the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own caseload, with the support of a strong team of healthcare professionals and access to resources from a global corporate infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on providing occupational health services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage caseloads, including administrative support;
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
  • Work across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
  • Assist individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy/Exercise Physiology and registration with AHPRA or ESSA;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Compassion, kindness, empathy, and well-developed time management skills are essential;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is required.
