Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking professionals with a background in occupational therapy to work in the Sydney Metro area on various projects related to injury prevention and return to work.

This role offers flexibility and autonomy, supported by a strong team of healthcare professionals and global corporate resources.

You will provide rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions, aiming for return to health and work outcomes.

  • Manage caseloads with support from colleagues;
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Develop programs to prevent injuries at workplaces;
  • Collaborate with workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health professionals;
  • Work across schemes such as workers compensation, life insurance, and employer-funded programs;
  • Assist injured workers achieve return to health and work outcomes;
  • Conduct assessments to review diagnosis, treatment plans, and identify employment opportunities.

Key Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with relevant registration;
  • Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded;
  • Excellent communication skills for client engagement;
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • Current NSW Driver's License and comprehensive insurance.
