Senior Laboratory Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Haematology Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic, consultative, procedural and on-call specialty services in Laboratory Haematology.
- To ensure a high standard of professional performance.
- Encourage an academic environment that supports research and development.
- Current registration or eligibility with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Laboratory Haematology.
- Demonstrated commitment to basic, applied or clinical research and/or medical education and staff training.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personal qualities including effective communication skills, motivation, initiative, time management and commitment to professional development.
- Contemporary knowledge of National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) Standards and NATA accreditation processes.
- Up-to-date clinical knowledge and technical expertise in Laboratory Haematology.
