Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICT professional to join our team as a Service Desk Officer. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service focus, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line support for IT issues and problems via phone, face-to-face, or through a ticket management system.
  • Assist users with issue resolutions by creating documentation and guiding them through the process.
  • Participate in the Change Control process and ensure that all changes made to National Systems have both technical and user documentation.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise and escalate tasks as needed.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service focus with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
