Lead Sales Growth in ANZ Region

Sumo Logic is seeking an exceptional sales leader to drive revenue growth and team success in the ANZ region. As a key role within the organization, this position requires a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly manage a team of 6-10 sales professionals.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Partner Sales Manager, and Sales Development professionals to achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and team performance.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including recruitment, retention, and performance management.
  • Work closely with Finance to forecast sales team P&L and operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience building, training, and leading top-notch sales teams in the SaaS vertical.
  • 10+ years of experience in direct sales, with a strong background in channel sales.
  • Deep experience selling complex SaaS offerings to IT Ops and/or Dev Ops leaders.
  • Relevant software industry experience in IT systems, enterprise, or infrastructure management.
  • A sales track record of leading teams to exceed quota objectives.
  • Strong communication skills and a polished approach to management and sales.
  • Ability to forecast sales accurately and a commitment to achieving those figures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA is a plus.
  • Based in Sydney or Melbourne (Hybrid role).
