Job Overview

A driven sales professional with a background in capital equipment or process controls is required to lead sales efforts across the Northeast U.S. region as a Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning and growing business within a defined territory of key industrial accounts
  • Managing and supporting a network of Manufacturer Representatives
  • Crafting and executing strategic sales plans to drive new business and upsell within existing accounts
  • Supporting technical stakeholders and guiding them through the full sales cycle
  • Coordinating regularly with internal teams on forecasts, product feedback, and customer needs
  • Meeting or exceeding assigned sales and margin targets
  • Contributing insights to new product development based on market trends
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of industrial B2B sales experience, preferably with capital equipment or engineered systems
  • A strong technical aptitude — a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred
  • Experience selling into manufacturing environments (material handling, process automation, bulk solids handling, weighing systems, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)
  • Comfortable with 50% travel across the territory
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with Lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience working with ERP systems
