
Support Worker for Victim Survivors

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as a Family Violence Advocate. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with victim survivors referred through the Orange Door, providing them with tailored support plans that meet their individual needs.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to victim survivors
- Develop and implement individualized support plans
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide comprehensive support services
About this Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding position for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of others. As a Family Violence Advocate, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals and help them navigate the court system. You will also be working closely with other professionals to ensure that victim survivors receive the best possible support and care.
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of family violence practice and its impact on survivors. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Flexibility and adaptability are essential in this role, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment and may be required to respond to emergencies at short notice.
