Job Title:
Victim Support Specialist
CASA House is seeking a dedicated Victim Support Specialist to provide critical support and advocacy services to individuals who have experienced sexual assault.
This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and empathy. You will work closely with victim/survivors, providing telephone and face-to-face support, counseling, and group work to help them navigate the aftermath of trauma.
You will also coordinate medical support and advocate on behalf of victim/survivors with other systems, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and respectful manner.
Successful applicants will hold a university-qualified Bachelor degree in Social Work or a related health profession, along with demonstrated crisis counseling experience, specialist knowledge, and skills in supporting survivors of sexual assault and violence.
