About This Role

As a Victim Support Worker, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries to our Helpline, providing support and advice to victim-survivors of family violence and victims of crime.

  • Provide trauma-informed case management and advocacy to victim survivors of family violence, ensuring their safety and well-being.">
  • Evaluate relevant work activities and ensure accurate recording in accordance with privacy legislative requirements and other relevant policies.">

What We're Looking For

  • ">
  • At least two (2) years of practice experience in the family violence sector or a specialist family violence service and with victims of crime.">
  • Experience working with male victims of family violence is preferred but not essential.">
  • Understanding of the Victims Support service system and associated legislation as well as the broader service system.">
