Position Summary

We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendants to join our dedicated Housekeeping team. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that our guests expect. Candidates with prior experience in hotel housekeeping, particularly in establishments with over 200 rooms, are encouraged to apply for both casual and permanent part-time positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests
  • Ensuring guest rooms are cleaned to perfection
  • Executing assigned cleaning tasks to uphold brand standards throughout the property
  • Managing the transfer of soiled linen and disposal of waste
  • Utilizing cleaning chemicals safely and effectively

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for the hospitality sector and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Applicants must have unrestricted work rights in Australia and be available for a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by business needs.

Experience and Skills:

  • Prior experience in cleaning, with hotel experience being highly advantageous
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to provide excellent service
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management abilities
  • Good communication skills, comfortable using a two-way radio
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and school holidays
  • Understanding of safe chemical handling and manual handling techniques
  • Must have valid Australian work rights; sponsorship is not available
