About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Attendant to join our exceptional team at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. As an In-Room Dining Attendant, you will provide our guests with exceptional service, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Set tables according to the type of event and service standards.
  • Answer questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability.
  • Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, china, and glass throughout the day.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.
  • Present a physical and accurate check to the guest and process payment.
Requirements
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build positive relationships with guests and team members.
