Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager - Channel Partners to join our Flow Division team in Australia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales of Sulzer Submersible Pumps, Mixers & Grinders to new and existing business partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing business partners and identify new business opportunities.
  • Product Training and Support
    • Develop and deliver product training programs for existing and new business partners.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to business partners to ensure successful product implementation.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement
    • Monitor the performance of key business partners and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement plans to address performance gaps and improve overall sales performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with the Sales Manager - Pacific and the Service teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to drive business growth and reduce commercial risk.
  • Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification
    • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
    • Develop and implement plans to capitalize on new market opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Marketing Support
    • Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to drive business growth and reduce commercial risk.
  • Order and Project Management
    • Ensure orders and projects are launched in a timely and professional manner.
    • Monitor and manage project progress to ensure successful completion.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in pump product sales.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Strong, detailed knowledge and experience with Submersible Pumps, Mixers & Grinders.
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
