Job Title: Operational Excellence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive process improvements, ensure safety and compliance, and contribute to the success of our organization.

About the Role

The Operational Excellence Specialist will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring accessibility and training of unambiguous procedures for start-up, normal operation, abnormal situations, and emergencies and completion of Operational Checklists.

  • Create and maintain operational procedures to support the delivery of various projects and maintenance activities within the asset.
  • Review alarm rates regularly and identify bad actors that require remediation, working closely with Process Engineers and Maintenance teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain oversight of process chemical stocks and consumption, ensuring availability when required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute all operational activities that support broader asset management strategies – i.e. maintenance, projects, and turnaround events.
  • Support the development and management of Asset Capital and Operational Budgets to support Safety, Production, Reliability, Efficiency, and Environmental performance.
  • Maintain HSSE critical equipment list for area of responsibility and ensure integrity operating windows are defined for all static and rotating equipment, with support from Integrity and Reliability teams.
Requirements
  • Candidates should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A strong background in operations, maintenance, or engineering, with experience in process improvement and project management.
  • Proficiency in using various software tools and technologies, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and other relevant systems.
