Job Description

The role of Senior Finance Business Partner involves acting as the strategic finance partner to a designated Directorate, with regular exposure to the CEO and Executive Team. You will be responsible for influencing financial decision-making, driving performance and sustainability, and supporting long-term financial planning and analysis.

As a key member of Yarra's Corporate Services division, you will embed yourself within the Directorate, proactively building relationships and visibility across teams. This role demands strong business acumen, a collaborative mindset, and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Influencing financial decision-making and driving performance and sustainability
  • Supporting long-term financial planning and analysis
  • Building relationships and visibility across teams
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders with confidence

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated experience in partnering with senior leaders to deliver strategic financial advice. You will also require deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning and reporting within a complex organisation.
