Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the 'Courts Group'.

Court Services Victoria (CSV) is seeking a visionary and experienced leader to join our team as the Principal Strategic Advisor – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
This pivotal role will shape and drive inclusive policy, strategy, and practice across the Courts Group, ensuring our workplaces and services reflect the values of equity, cultural safety, accessibility, and inclusion.As the Principal Strategic Advisor – DEI, you will:Lead the implementation and review of CSV's Gender Equality Action Plan in line with the Gender Equality Act 2020.Develop and embed DEI policies and frameworks that align with legislative obligations and workforce entitlements.Provide strategic advice on inclusive recruitment, reasonable adjustments, flexible work, and accessibility.Design and deliver capability-building programs including unconscious bias training and inclusive leadership development.Establish evaluation frameworks and reporting mechanisms to measure the impact of DEI initiatives.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed inclusive principles across policy, culture, and operations.We care about your health and wellbeing and have partnered with Fitness Passport, an initiative that allows you to access significantly discounted fitness membership programA range of flexible working arrangementsPeer Support Program designed to help create a safe and supportive workplace where colleagues look out for each otherKoori staff network to enhance support for Koori staff and ensure that appropriate networks and services are readily availableOngoing professional development within a collaborative and supportive work environmentAbout youYou are a strategic thinker and inclusive leader with:Tertiary qualifications in public policy, law, human rights, psychology, social work, or a related field.Deep knowledge of relevant legislation including the Gender Equality Act, Equal Opportunity Act, and Disability Discrimination Act.Extensive experience in DEI policy development and implementation, ideally within a complex or justice-related organisation.Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering impactful DEI initiatives.Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with cultural competence and a commitment to intersectional approaches.A collaborative mindset and ability to influence across diverse teams and leadership levels.How to applyClick the 'Apply Now'' button, ensuring you include the following in your application:ResumeOther informationCSV is the employer of staff at Courts Group.
