Job Title: Chef

Madhavi Holdings WA Pty Ltd, a renowned culinary destination, is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team. Our restaurant is known for its diverse menu, blending traditional recipes with modern techniques to create an unforgettable culinary journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food kitchen staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Culinary Innovation: Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff, and develop new recipes to introduce various items across the menu.
  • Quality Control: Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations, and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
  • Supply Chain Management: Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients, and order or requisition food and other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation.
  • Operational Excellence: Actively rectify kitchen problems with the staff and the manager, and maintain high level of professional appearance and good hygiene during and after service.
  • Menu Planning: Ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals, and work closely with the management and staff to deal with day-to-day operational issues and concerns.
Requirements:
  • Diploma level qualification is required.
  • Relevant experience is essential.
  • Friendly, positive, and approachable attitude is a must.
  • Energetic and motivated individual is required.
Compensation:

$70,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.
