About the Role:

We are seeking an organised and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Administration Officer on a part-time basis. As an Administration Officer, you will provide crucial support to the Service Manager and other staff to ensure the smooth running of the Bundaberg Children, Youth and Family Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative tasks such as answering phone and counter enquiries, managing travel arrangements, rosters and client billing, generating reports, maintaining and ensuring the security and confidentiality of office files and records, and financial administration – accounts payable and petty cash.
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the Service Manager and other staff.
  • Occasional travel to provide support to our surrounding services may be required, dependent on business needs.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Possess, or have the ability to obtain, a Blue Card (Working with Children), Licensed Care Service (Child Protection) and a National Police Clearance.
