Business Operations Manager
">Job Description:The role of the Business Operations Manager is crucial to the efficient functioning of our office. This position oversees various aspects of office operations, including procurement, IT support, fleet management, employee onboarding, accommodation and travel bookings, security, and building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of office supplies, equipment, furniture, and maintain cost-effective supplier relationships.
- Oversee company fleet, including maintenance, repairs, scheduling, and compliance with safety/registration requirements.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures; provide administrative support to Executive Leaders and Directors.
- Provide IT support, including troubleshooting, procurement, upgrades, licensing, and hardware/software maintenance.
- Facilitate employee onboarding, including account setup, access permissions, equipment, and training.
- Arrange and manage staff travel and accommodation, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policy.
- Implement office security protocols; oversee building maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and coordination with external providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business operations or a related role, preferably within the industry.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of IT hardware and software support.
- Familiarity with procurement and supplier management.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a well-organised office.
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
