A prestigious fit-out and refurbishment contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join their growing business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction administration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This is a permanent full-time position offering a great opportunity to work with a successful organisation that values challenging work and career progression.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and check subcontract packages for accuracy and completeness.
- Negotiate and review subcontract tenders to ensure fair pricing and optimal outcomes.
- Manage procurement schedules to align with project timelines.
- Ensure accurate payment schedules are prepared and processed in a timely manner.
- Process progress and delay claims according to contractual obligations and deadlines.
- Prepare and issue regular progress reports to clients, highlighting key milestones and achievements.
- Maintain accurate records of job files, drawings, and contracts, as well as shop drawing registers.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience in construction administration, preferably within a tier 1, 2, or 3 organisation.
- Construction Safety Induction (White) card.
- Strong analytical and administrative skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
