Project Manager Assistant
We are seeking an experienced project manager assistant to work on commercial fit-out, refurbishment, and construction projects in the Eastern Suburbs. As a key member of our contract management team, you will be responsible for assisting the project manager with administrative functions, adhering to company management systems, and meeting client expectations regarding budget, timeframes, and project quality.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of relevant experience in the commercial fit-out industry, a detailed knowledge of the contract management process, experience in assisting project teams, and advanced Microsoft Project skills. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team and manage time efficiently.
Responsibilities include managing subcontractors' budgets, tendering projects, receiving and processing subcontractor documentation, and ensuring progress claims and variations are paid on time. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standard.
