Job Title: Rebates Administrator/Coordinator

The Rebates Administrator/Coordinator is accountable for the end-to-end management of the rebate agreements function across Australia and New Zealand. This includes the completion of the rebate agreement renewals process through to final settlement of credits against customer accounts.

The role will be situated at our newly renovated offices in Notting Hill, with a hybrid work arrangement. Reporting directly to the National Credit Manager, duties include:

  • Developing, implementing, and managing a process/system to ensure rebates are maintained accurately and paid promptly to customers in line with contractual obligations.
  • Ensuring a robust and effective system of controls is in place and operating to manage risk and minimise exposure to the company regarding rebates.
  • Providing sound and timely advice in the implementation and management of rebate agreements.
  • Resolving issues and queries from key stakeholders (internal and external) related to rebates.
  • Continuously evolving the rebates process, utilising the company's tools and systems to ensure effective and efficient operation of rebates.
  • Approving updates of customer master records in SAP with nominated rebate reporting codes to ensure accuracy of rebate accruals through SAP.
  • Ensuring timely closure/final settlement of all rebate agreements.
  • Supporting Sales & Marketing to ensure proposed rebate agreements can be implemented by the SAP ERP system.
  • Preparing, generating, and communicating relevant sales and rebates reporting to internal key stakeholders and rebate customers, supporting business decision-making.
  • Ensuring the rebates process, including execution of rebate agreements and rebate payments, is carried out in accordance with the Schedule of Authorities (SoA).

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have a proven background and experience in a similar role within Credit or Finance, possessing the following skills and attributes:

  • Time management skills with the ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP highly desirable.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel) required.
  • Ability to work autonomously, self-start, and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Resilience – Proven ability to thrive in an environment of change requiring flexibility.
  • Understanding of customer needs (internal & external) and ability to provide solutions and/or actions to meet those needs.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
