Investigator Role Overview

The role of an investigator is to conduct professional and objective inquiries into allegations of assault, abuse, exploitation, and neglect. This includes developing correspondence, briefings, and investigation reports in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into sensitive matters.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Provide support and training to staff on investigative procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investigations.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Law Enforcement, or related field.
  • Certificate IV in Investigations (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum three years' experience conducting investigations, including obtaining and drafting witness statements.
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
