Salary & Benefits


The estimated salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role


This Senior Business Development Manager position is based in our Sydney office and reports directly to the Head of Enterprise Sales – APAC.


You will be responsible for growing Midwinter's revenue and user base in the adviser segment, collaborating with the APAC sales team to design and implement a comprehensive growth strategy balancing both financial gain and customer satisfaction/retention.


Cultivate and enhance strategic relationships with key external stakeholders, including high-value clients, industry leaders, regulatory bodies, internal senior leadership and cross-functional teams, achieving overarching business goals.



Key Responsibilities


Establish and actively manage a pipeline of high potential clients, understanding their strategic needs and aligning them with Midwinter's comprehensive solutions.


Lead large-scale business development initiatives, campaigns, and industry events to enhance brand presence and drive growth.


Define and execute strategic sales initiatives that maximize revenue growth, market share, and profitability while ensuring long-term client satisfaction.



Required Skills & Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • 7+ years of business development experience with a passion for sales.
  • Knowledge of investment, superannuation, social security and taxation.
  • Strong financial planning background and experience in Financial Services technology.
  • Proven experience selling software to financial advisors.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-term partnerships.
  • The ability to identify and establish opportunities in existing and new markets, nurture a sales pipeline and deliver results.
  • A strong customer focus, presentation skills and expert communication to build and manage strong relationships with both internal and external key executive stakeholders.
