Chief Customer Officer

Vault Cloud is the national leader in providing highly secure and scalable sovereign cloud capability to the Australian National Security and Safety Critical sector.

We pioneered the development of Australia's only sovereign, hyperscale cloud with security at its core, being one of the first cloud organisations to be Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) certified and we continue to drive innovation, delivering First of a Kind capability across the sector.

As a key player in the sector, we're expanding our capabilities to meet the growing demands of our customers. We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our Executive Leadership team as Chief Customer Officer (CCO) to drive revenue growth in accordance with Vault's strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Customer Department, comprising all new and existing customer activity, including Customer Solution Architecture and Marketing.
  • Develop and execute key sales and marketing strategies to deliver revenue acquisition and growth.
  • Enable growth in our install base and strong customer retention by deploying customer retention and growth strategies.
  • Lead the strategic direction and cultivation of our partner ecosystem toward delivering valuable commercial outcomes for Vault and its partners.
  • Bolster Vault Cloud's brand and positioning to customers within the National Security and Safety Critical sector.
Requirements:
  • Extensive team leadership experience with proven experience motivating outcomes and developing a cohesive team culture.
  • Strong management skills, including performance management, coaching, succession planning, and career development.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen including strategy development, P&L capability, stakeholder management, and governance.
  • Hands-on expertise in crafting compelling solutions and value propositions.
  • Ability to listen, engage, and be curious in solving complex customer and business problems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Passion for technology and security.
  • Flexibility to thrive within a fast-paced, agile, and expanding scale-up environment.
