Job Title: Behaviour Support Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team, providing high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct person-centred assessments and planning with NDIS participants, families, and carers
  • Develop and implement evidence-based positive behaviour support plans
  • Promote the elimination of restrictive practices through education and practical strategies
  • Work collaboratively to build capacity in families, carers, and support networks
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience working within the NDIS framework and supporting individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviours
  • Qualified Behaviour Support Practitioners or professionals with extensive experience in the disability sector
  • Passion for supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours
  • Degree or Diploma qualifications essential
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to translate assessment findings into clear, actionable plans
