About the Role

CPBS is seeking an experienced full-time or part-time Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our forward-thinking and dedicated team in Melbourne North. This is your chance to develop your professional and clinical skills while expanding your leadership capabilities. What You'll Do
  • Make positive and distinct changes to the lives of others by developing and maintaining relationships
  • Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions
  • Develop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans
  • Provide support and training to colleagues, caregivers support workers on clinical techniques
  • Partner with varying professionals including doctors, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement individualised client goals and checklists
  • Adhere to legislative requirements regarding timely and accurate report writing and documentation
  • Complete introductory IABA training in Non-Linear Multi-element Positive Behaviour Support
Skills and Experiences
  • A bachelor's degree and/or post graduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support
  • To hold an existing NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Proven experience as either a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst or Behaviour Therapist
  • Ability to prepare and finalise technical reports in a timely manner, using high-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills, managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Hold a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to make a significant difference in the lives of the people and families we support
