Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician to join our team. This role is primarily based in the workshop, where you will be responsible for manufacturing orthoses and prostheses to a high technical standard.

The ideal candidate will have excellent hand skills and experience working with tools and machinery. You will work closely with clinicians to fabricate and finish a wide range of orthoses and prostheses, participating in professional development activities to ensure best technical practice is maintained.

As an Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician, you will:

  • Work closely with clinicians to manufacture orthoses and prostheses
  • Participate in professional development activities to maintain best technical practice
  • Transfer solutions from one task to another and develop customized solutions for individual patients

Requirements include:

  • Previous experience in orthotics and prosthetics is not essential
  • Transferable skills with hand tools and workshop machinery
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to quality standards
