We are seeking an Orthotist/Prosthetist to join our team and make a positive impact on patient outcomes. This graduate position is ideal for new graduates and early career professionals looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with specialist multidisciplinary teams, including Vascular, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, to provide high-quality orthotic and prosthetic services. This opportunity allows you to work in a collaborative environment, engage in quality and education initiatives, and contribute to the development and continuing improvement of our orthotics and prosthetics service.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Masters of Clinical Prosthetic and Orthotics or equivalent
  • AOPA membership with certification as an Orthotist/Prosthetist
  • Interest in clinical practice relevant to Austin Health (Musculoskeletal, Spinal Injury and pressure injury management)
  • Working knowledge of external funding streams such as NDIS, TAC, Work Cover and SWEP
