Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the daily operations of our Therapeutic Residential Care program in a supportive and inclusive environment.

This role requires an experienced professional who can mentor a team of support workers to provide purposeful support to young people with high and complex behaviours and/or disabilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and young people through active engagement and visible interest.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging living environment that fosters growth and resilience.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and implement case plans that prioritise the best interests of children and young people.
  • Lead and support a team of residential workers, providing reflective supervision and guidance.
  • Coordinate the intake and transition of new children and young people into the program.
  • Maintain accurate records in our database.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with young people in Residential Care programs.
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent qualification.
  • Completed Top Up Units in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (essential).
  • Healing Matters Certificate (essential).
  • Prior experience as House Manager / Supervisor is desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, crisis management, and strong interpersonal skills.
