People Operations Manager

We're shaping education and need someone fearless to reshape how our People Operations are done.

This is a leadership role for experienced professionals who want to drive change: a builder, a driver, a cultural architect who thrives on chaos and creates order without killing momentum.

Our vision is to empower students by providing an ecosystem of highly effective tutoring, resources, and support. We run weekly small-group tutoring sessions at our campuses, delivered by young, experienced tutors who teach in a simple, engaging way.

Since launching, over 8,000 students and 250+ team members have joined us. Our growth reflects our commitment to providing every student and parent with a premium learning experience — from 24/7 support to on-demand resources — and helping them achieve their goals.

As a People Operations Manager, you'll own key areas:

  • Performance Management: Build frameworks that keep leaders honest (goals, feedback, reviews, PIPs). No passengers allowed.
  • People Ops Strategy: Automate, streamline, and reinvent processes. Consistency is your outcome.
  • Talent Acquisition: Run recruitment like a high-performance sales funnel.
  • Culture Development: Embed rituals that stick, run eNPS, close the loop, and keep leaders accountable for the culture they create.
  • ER & Compliance: No hiding, no delays, just clean, fair, fast resolution.
  • Data Insights: Dashboards, trends, clarity. No vanity metrics, just the truth leaders need.

What you bring:

  • 5+ years in People Operations / HR leadership, with proven experience scaling teams and systems.
  • Performance management expertise — frameworks, reviews, PIPs, and leader enablement.
  • Strong ER/IR and Fair Work knowledge — you know how to keep processes compliant and fair.
  • Talent acquisition systems experience — high-volume + strategic hiring, playbooks, scorecards, funnels.
  • HRIS/automation capability — ideally Rippling (or equivalent), building workflows that remove admin noise.
  • Data literacy — dashboards, workforce insights, and trend analysis that drive real decisions.
