The Role

As a Settlements Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding the team, driving process improvements, and ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities
  • Oversight of settlements for OTC, derivatives, and structured products
  • Ensure settlement processes are accurate, timely, and compliant
  • Act as an escalation point for complex settlement issues
  • Support and mentor analysts to enhance capabilities
  • Reconcile trades, investigate breaks, and resolve discrepancies quickly
  • Collaborate with counterparties, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues
  • Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and risk controls
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and enhanced reporting
Requirements
  • 3+ years in settlements, trading operations, middle office, or treasury (financial, FX, or crypto)
  • Solid knowledge of settlement processes, reconciliations, and risk controls
  • Experience in crypto markets, blockchain settlements, or wallet management (advantage)
  • Proven process improvement skills
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
