At the Pepperstone Group Limited, we're seeking a skilled Salary Negotiation and Payroll System Implementation Specialist to join our team in Melbourne. With a competitive salary structure of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of a new payroll platform, ensuring seamless integration with existing HR processes.

About the Role:

  • This is a fixed term position for 12-15 months, offering a unique chance to make a lasting impact on our payroll operations.
  • You'll be responsible for leading solution development, configuration, and implementation of the new payroll platform, adhering to best practices and enhancing the employee experience.
  • Heading requirement gathering sessions for all jurisdictions, including Australia, Bahamas, Dubai, UK, Kenya, Cyprus, Chile, and Germany.
  • Testing payroll solutions against UAT test scenarios, executing and reviewing parallel run results, and working with internal teams to review payroll processes and ensure readiness for go-live.
  • Managing incidents, problems, and requests through to completion within agreed timeframes and creating and maintaining requirement documentations.

About You:

  • A sound knowledge of compliance for Australian payroll and experience operating in a compliance-driven environment, ideally where employees have been covered by Agreements or Awards.
  • Demonstrated experience in working on strategic initiatives and change management in systems environments, including contributing to significant system implementations in complex businesses.
  • A strong ability to interpret and apply complex payroll legislation and regulations in Australia, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • An excellent attention to detail and commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Current and appropriate working rights in Australia.
