About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data to join our IT and Digital Enablement team in Melbourne. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our data science and engineering capabilities, and leading the implementation of data-driven strategies to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a data management strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives
  • Lead the development of advanced analytics capabilities, including AI and machine learning
  • Oversee the implementation of business intelligence platforms and standard reporting platforms
  • Develop and maintain data governance practices and principles
  • Coach and mentor a team of data scientists and engineers to drive innovation and growth
Requirements
  • Significant experience in data management and analytics, with a strong track record of delivering business value
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and evidence of currency
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to tell a compelling story
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
