About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Data and Analytics to join our IT and Digital Enablement team in Melbourne. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our data management capability and governance practices, as well as leading the implementation of business intelligence platforms and advanced analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a data-driven culture across the organization
  • Lead the development of AI capability across the group, with a focus on delivering tangible business value and operational efficiency
  • Coach and mentor a strong team of data scientists and engineers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams
Requirements
  • Significant people leadership experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and evidence of currency
  • Relevant experience demonstrating growth in technical capability
  • Great commercial acumen and the ability to tell a compelling story
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
