Equipment Maintenance Technician

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of specialist Defence equipment, including installation, inspection, repairs, modification, and reconditioning of military armaments and small engines.
Main responsibilities include:
- Examining detailed specifications to determine job requirements.
- Operating machines to produce or modify required parts or tools.
- Inspecting quality of finished parts.
- Fitting and assembling parts.
- Providing technical advice to equipment operators.
- Conducting relevant data entry tasks.
- Maintaining miscellaneous equipment, including small engines, general service, and marine equipment.
Requirements:
- Australian citizenship is mandatory.
- The successful applicant must hold a trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner (Certificate III).
- A valid C Class drivers licence is required.
