Job Opportunity: Relationship Officer

The role of Relationship Officer is a pivotal position within our organization, focused on developing and maintaining strong relationships with donors to drive the growth of our Gifts in Wills portfolio. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to provide exceptional donor care and cultivate meaningful relationships that foster engagement and support.

About the Role

This full-time position offers flexibility to work remotely on an ongoing basis, providing the opportunity for a healthy work-life balance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Donor Care and Development: Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with confirmed and potential bequestors to drive engagement and support.
  • Acquisition and Stewardship: Assist in acquiring, engaging, and converting donors to foster long-term relationships.
  • Event Participation: Participate in various engagement activities to promote our program, including mailing and digital initiatives.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing and/or fundraising (desirable), with previous experience in fundraising/marketing/events highly regarded.
  • A positive can-do attitude, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Outstanding telephone manner, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with intermediate to advanced experience with mail merges, Excel, and PowerPoint.
