Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Regional People And Capability Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of our hotel teams. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support in areas such as employee relations, organisational change, talent planning and management, culture, and capability development.

About You:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar sized and structured organisation
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or Commerce
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industry awards and national employment standards
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365, HRIS & Payroll systems
  • Outstanding organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations - Partner with managers to resolve sensitive team member issues or complaints
  • Organisational Change - Project manage organisational change including redundancy management
  • Talent Planning and Management - Undertake talent reviews of hotel leaders and build succession plans
  • Culture - Ensure our EVP shines through in any interaction with potential talent and team members
  • Capability Development - Support the Learning & Organisational Development Team on the delivery of training programs
