About the Role

The Australian Red Cross Lifeblood is seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining our ServiceNow instances.

This is a permanent full-time role that requires a strong background in IT service management, IT operations, and strategic portfolio management. You will work closely with our service managers, service owners, program/project managers, IT operations, customer, manufacturing, data engineering, and cloud enablement teams to ensure seamless delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain ServiceNow instances to meet the needs of our business
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our teams on ServiceNow best practices
  • Identify areas for process improvement and automation, and develop solutions to address these opportunities
  • Implement and deliver solutions that meet our business requirements, considering process design and ServiceNow technical best practices
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables to our customers, on time and within budget
  • Organize and prioritize development efforts, interfacing with vendors and management, and coordinating team contributions to deliverables
  • Assist in upskilling staff through mentoring, feedback, and support of other employees
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience in IT service management, IT operations, and strategic portfolio management
  • ITILv4 foundations certification and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • Strong technical skills in ServiceNow, including IT service management, IT operations management, and strategic portfolio management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
