Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced WorkCover paralegal or Workers Compensation Claims Advisor to join our team at Empire Group. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for managing common law claims, determining and gathering information, and ensuring claim outcomes meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage common law claims, including determining and gathering information
  • Decide common law claims in accordance with relevant legislation
  • Prepare court matters, including collating of Briefs and organising conferences
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure claim outcomes meet company objectives
  • Perform general administrative duties, including drafting legal notices and correspondence

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in WorkCover litigation paralegal or Workers Compensation Claims Advisor role
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
