Lead Group Sessions as a Peer Facilitator

We are seeking a full-time Peer Facilitator to deliver structured group sessions for Carers, utilizing the CHIME recovery framework and peer support principles. You will create safe and inclusive spaces where Carers can share, learn, and grow together.

The role involves conducting engaging group sessions on topics like stress management, communication skills, navigating systems, personal identity, and wellbeing. As a Peer Facilitator, you will draw upon your own experiences to support the learning of others.

To excel in this position, you will possess:
  • Lived experience as a young Carer or adult Carer
  • Certificate IV or above in a support discipline and/or equivalent Community sector experience
  • Current working rights within Australia (birth certificate/passport/visa)
  • A valid driving license
  • A current National Police Check (less than 12 months old) and Working with Children's Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online course
