Lifestyle Solutions is a leading provider of services to people with disability, young people and children in Out Of Home Care, their families and communities.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Child Care Services Manager to lead our team of support workers in providing therapeutic care to children and young people.

About the Role
  • Manage and supervise a team of Therapeutic Youth Workers to provide high-quality support and care to children and young people in our Out Of Home Care services.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure the well-being and safety of our customers.
  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of our care services, including rostering, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Out of Home Care Standards.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and other service providers.
Key Requirements
  • Relevant management experience in Children and Young People in Out Of Home Care, preferably with a focus on therapeutic care and support.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop staff, with a focus on leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of the complexities of trauma-based backgrounds and the need for culturally appropriate practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for our customers.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
