This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Orientation & Mobility professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to individuals with vision impairment, empowering them to maintain independence in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inquiries and provide tailored support services to clients.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Conduct comprehensive O&M assessments, synthesise findings, and communicate results with clients and teams.
  • Develop and implement individualised Orientation and Mobility programs.
  • Train clients in various environments, promoting independence and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Orientation & Mobility or related field.
  • Ability to travel frequently for overnight stays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and modern technology.
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence and good driving record.
