The role of the Assistant Director is a crucial position in any early learning center. As a leader, you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate your team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.
- Mentorship: Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
- Centre Management: Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence.
- Practice Guide Implementation: Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as an Assistant Director or in a centre leadership position, or similar.
- Qualification: Diploma - Children's Services or equivalent.
