About the Role:
  • Support resident choice and participation in individual and group activities.
  • Contribute to the design, delivery and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services and activities.
  • Develop innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and their families, involving the wider community, volunteers and friends where possible.
  • Provide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips, including assisting with personal hygiene and toileting.
  • Deliver direct resident care in relation to meals service, mobility and social support.
  • Support your peers and maintain a collaborative team spirit.
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, following all policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support or similar.
  • Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
  • A reliable team player.
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents.
  • Willingness to apply for necessary clearances.
