Job Description:

As a Complex Care Rural Clinician, you will be working in a supportive team environment that prioritizes patient-centered care and well-being. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people residing in rural communities.

The successful candidate will provide timely and effective assessment, treatment, and counseling services for individuals affected by mental illness, significant psychosocial distress, and suicidality.

  • Provide MHDA assessment, treatment, and counseling services to individuals affected by mental illness, significant psychosocial distress, and suicidality.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including people with lived experience of suicide and recovery, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including health services, community organizations, and government agencies, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in MHDA and community-based care.
Requirements:
  • Highly developed assessment and treatment skills, with a focus on Mental Health Disaster Assessment (MHDA).
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, including collaboration with people with lived experience of suicide and recovery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
