Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000, made up of a base salary and commission, plus superannuation benefits.

Job Description

This Membership Manager position at our Brighton club involves taking overall management of the member experience, leading a team of Member Support Consultants to achieve new sales targets and member retention budgets, and overseeing front desk operations.

You will be a motivational leader with the ability to mentor a team and lead by example. Your sales expertise, organisational capabilities, and excellence in customer service will be essential in imbuing your team with the behaviors needed to create a thriving Fitness First club.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily workflow of the MSC team to ensure the club reaches monthly sales targets
  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets to contribute to the team's success
  • Create a structure to ensure the MSC team meets daily performance criteria
  • Assist with delivering sales training to develop the MSC team
  • Achieve member retention and growth budgets on a monthly basis
  • Respond to enquiries via phone, email, or in person within 24 hours
  • Support the Club and Regional Manager in developing initiatives to drive membership growth
About You
  • Demonstrate proven sales and customer service experience with a clear ability to hit KPIs
  • Show understanding of the sales cycle and various sales techniques, including up-selling and cross-selling
  • HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MANAGING THE CUSTOMER JOURNEY TO ACHIEVE SUCCESSFUL CUSTOMER OUTCOMES AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF CUSTOMER RETENTION STRATEGIES IS HIGHLY REGARDED
  • Prior experience of managing and mentoring a team
  • Able to set and motivate others towards goals
  • Experience using business computer systems
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
