Job Title: Electrician

We are seeking a qualified and experienced electrician to join our High Voltage (HV) department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, installation, and repair of HV equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of electrical equipment, including routine checks and repairs
  • Installation and replacement of electrical equipment within switchyards and substations
  • Problem diagnosis and predictive maintenance jobs
  • High voltage equipment testing and commissioning
  • Maintenance of electrical infrastructure, including battery charges, switchboards, power transformers, and circuit breakers
Requirements:
  • Hold an Electrical trade qualification with the ability to obtain a Queensland Electrical license
  • A sound understanding of workplace Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
  • Experience in the HV and mining industry
  • Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
  • Flexible approach and adaptable to change with high attention to detail
  • Demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment
