Electrician Job Description

We are seeking a qualified professional to join our High Voltage department. The role involves maintaining one of Queensland's largest privately owned HV networks, providing constant power to operational teams and other off-takers, while ensuring the highest level of safety.

  • High voltage equipment testing and commissioning within 132kV/33kV/11kV/3.3kV reticulation systems
  • Maintenance of electrical infrastructure including: battery charges, maintenance of switchboards, power transformers, circuit breakers and other indoor/outdoor HV switchyards switchgear
  • Assisting with switching operations within the HV network
  • Maintaining the power distribution network, ensuring safe and reliable operation
  • Attending to breakdown repairs within the HV network
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high voltage equipment testing and commissioning, maintaining electrical infrastructure, assisting with switching operations and attending to breakdown repairs.
