Electrical Maintenance Specialist

As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Grinding & Flotation circuits, Fill Plants, Concentrate Filters, tailing thickeners site process water and associated electrical infrastructure.

The Role

This role involves becoming a key member of our maintenance team, working collaboratively with other tradespeople to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out routine inspections and maintenance tasks on electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Performing repairs and installations as required
  • Developing skills and knowledge to enable effective breakdown shift coverage
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Manual Driver's Licence
  • Trade qualified Electrician with an equivalent Queensland Electrical Fitter or Electrical Mechanic Licence
  • Instrumentation Qualification highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a professional work standard
  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge with HV and LV motors, variable speed drives, soft starters and conveyor systems will be highly regarded
